Brooklyn Delhi Tomato Achaar

Savory, spicy, and tangy



Brooklyn Delhi Tomato Achaar is a 2016 Good Food Awards winner. It is a savory, spicy, and tangy condiment made with fresh tomatoes, tamarind, a mix of Indian spices, red chili powder, unrefined cane sugar, and sesame oil.  

Traditionally, tomato achaar is eaten with rice, curry, dal, and yogurt. We also love it on top of eggs and grilled meats, or mixed into mayonnaise for a simple and delicious dip.

Ingredients include locally grown tomatoes, sesame oil, expeller pressed canola oil, garlic, salt, red chili powder, tamarind, spices (black mustard seeds, fenugreek seeds, turmeric, asafetida), and unrefined sugar cane.
