Artisan made kitchen knives by Ceccaldi are crafted from olivewood and carbon steel, with razor sharp blades.  

In 1978 Couteaux Ceccaldi was founded by Jean-Pierre and Dany Ceccaldi in Corsica. The first knife produced was a shepherd’s knife made of goat horn, and over the years production expanded to a comprehensive range of knives for the kitchen and table. Today, the Ceccaldi sons, Sylvestre and Simon, are continuing this tradition with a new perspective on cutlery that is both contemporary and respectful of its heritage and origins. Ceccaldi holds the Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant distinction from the French Ministry of Economy and Industry.

Carbon steel blades will oxidize, and acquire a grey patina over time. The blade should be cleaned under running water after each use, dried immediately, and stored in a dry place.
