Sabi Kairagi Glazed Bowl
The Japanese tradition of Sabi Kairagi, or rust crackle, requires the trained hand of an artisan to produce. The clay is wrinkled during a first firing process and brown paint is added and then wiped away so it only shows in the cracks. A transparent glaze is added during the final firing.
This beautiful bowl has many serving uses but is great for simmered dishes. It comes with handy drinking or pouring spout.
